How many students are there in each class?

Is there any homework in every class?

The purpose of the quiz is not to grade, but to create a situation in which "memory must be retrieved in a short period of time" - this is the same as the cognitive state of the test, and is the most direct way to verify whether the understanding is stable. Can I organize my own class?

What are the class times for each level?

The actual opening of classes depends on the availability of places, and the schedule may be adjusted. What are the centre opening hours? Are there any classes on Sunday?

• Monday to Friday: 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.

How many classes should be attended per week?

Regular courses are 4 classes per month, that is, about one class per week. This is a suitable pace for most students: one class to deal with new topics and lectures, and the rest of the class to complete homework and practice.

There are three main situations that require encryption: the basic gap spans multiple grades (should be coordinated with Top-up courses or One to one), the sprint period of the second semester of Form 6 (limited time exercises can be added), and those who study Core and Extended Modules at the same time and have tight time allocation (a 2-hour combined class can be considered).

What should I do if I can’t catch up with the 16:30 class after school?

Later hours or Saturday classes are available. If the one-way journey takes more than 30 minutes, it is recommended to consider directly online courses— 30 minutes one way, two classes per week, that’s 8 hours of commuting per month, which is more than the 6 hours of class time per month for a junior secondary class. What information do I need to provide to book a trial lesson?

Can I join the class midway?

Yes, transfers are accepted throughout the year, as long as there are still places in the class.

When is the best time to join a new class?

What does tuition include? Do I need to buy additional textbooks?

No additional textbooks are required. Tuition fee includes:

Will summer classes be more expensive than regular classes?

Won't. After converting the two into hourly costs, the numbers are exactly the same:

What should I do if I can’t keep up?

We have four tiers of support:

1. Pre-entry assessment: First understand the students’ actual foundation and weaknesses, and arrange classes with appropriate levels. Classification errors are the most common source of "failure to keep up."
2. Instant follow-up in class: During the practice period, the second instructor will inspect students one by one, and students who are stuck will be dealt with in class.
3. Ask about homework via WhatsApp after class: No need to wait until the next class.
4. Adjust arrangements: If the progress continues to be inconsistent, we will discuss with parents to adjust classes, or to focus on handling the gaps one-on-one.

How do you know if tuition is effective?

Don't just look at the score - the score is affected by the difficulty of the test paper and can fluctuate greatly in the short term. Three more reliable indicators are:

• Repeat error rate: Whether the same type of error still occurs repeatedly. This is the earliest indicator of improvement.
• Points lost for "knowing what you do but making mistakes": The decrease in this item represents an improvement in execution.
• time limit completion rate: Can you complete the entire volume within the time limit and leave time for checking?

In terms of time expectations: procedural and review errors are usually reflected within a few weeks after correction; if the conceptual gap spans multiple grades, it will take more than a semester for a stable upward trend to appear. Can parents know their children's progress?

Can. Each class has homework and an after-class quiz. The assistants will sort out the errors and give feedback to the instructor to adjust the content of the next class. My grades are already good, do I still need tuition?

The depth of the Band 1 on-campus examination is often higher than the course requirements, and the focus of getting the best is completely different from making up for the bottom: making up for the bottom is about "not knowing how to do it", while being the best is about "knowing how to do it but making mistakes" and changing question types. Among our three-level difficulty exercises, the third level is designed just for this purpose—prestigious school test questions and previous public test questions.

Another practical consideration: Approximately 13% to 15% of candidates have obtained Level 5 or above in Mathematics Core in recent years, and 5** is the highest of approximately 10% of this group. What are the qualifications of the tutor?

Will the class be taught by the lead instructor or the teaching assistant?

The main instructor of the regular class is fixed and will not be changed in the middle of the school year - because the teaching materials and exercises are cumulatively arranged according to the weaknesses of the students in the class, and changing the teacher is equivalent to resetting the entire diagnosis record. Teaching assistants also work in fixed classes to ensure a continuous understanding of each student's error patterns.

Is the tutor familiar with my school’s school-based examinations?

Students mainly come from Band 1 secondary schools in Kowloon district, including Diocesan Boys' School (DBS), Diocesan Girls' School (DGS), La Salle College, Maryknoll Convent School (MCS), Wah Yan College, Kowloon, Heep Yen Secondary School and CKY, etc. Therefore, we have accumulated test and examination question type information of each school, and can strengthen practice according to the question-writing style of the school before the internal examination.

Can classes be taught in English?

Where is the tuition location?

It has office buildings and educational institutions as its main tenants in the middle and high-rise buildings. It is a well-known educational commercial building in the Prince Edward area. Most students and parents come and go in the building during the same period, so it is more convenient for pick-up and drop-off.

How is the transportation?

• MTR Prince Edward Station Exit C1: The exit sign directly lists "Prince Edward-Landmark City", and it's about a walk away 2 minutes That’s it.
• MTR Mong Kok Station Exit A1 or B1: Both exits lead to Nathan Road. After exiting the ground, walk north along Nathan Road (in the direction of Prince Edward) for about 5 to 8 minutes.
• Buses and minibuses: There are many routes along Nathan Road. Just get off at Nathan Road near Prince Edward Road West.

Is it convenient for parents to pick up and drop off?

Traffic is dense along Nathan Road, so there is no need to detour when picking up or dropping off from any area in Kowloon. However, there is no parking lot in the building itself, and there is a dedicated bus line on Nathan Road. It is not suitable to stay for a long time. It is recommended to pick up and drop off passengers on nearby cross streets (such as Bute Street and Prince Edward Road West).

Should I sign up for small class, one-on-one or online courses?

The three can be converted according to stages. For example, one-on-one can be used to make up the foundation first, and then merged into small classes after stabilization. The principle of judgment is to look at Where is the bottleneck?, not which one is "better".

How to choose between tuition centre and private tuition (private tuition)?

The advantage of the tuition centre lies in the systematic teaching materials, fixed progress, peer comparison, and accumulated school-based test question materials; the advantage of private tuition is that it can be completely adjusted to personal rhythm. Judgment method:If the problem is a lack of system and discipline, a tuition centre is more effective; if the problem is a deep gap in a specific subject or the progress is completely out of sync with the class, one-on-one is more effective.

What is the difference between DSE Mathematics and IB Mathematics?

Should I choose M1 or M2?

Two subject examination formats exactly the same: One test paper, 2 hours and 30 minutes, full score is 100 points, Part A and Part B are about 50 points each, all must be answered. In terms of content and thinking orientation:

• M1 (Calculus and Statistics) It is biased toward application, with statistics accounting for an important proportion. The difficulty lies in translating text situations into correct distributions and parameter settings.
• M2 (Algebra and Calculus) Partial theoretical deduction, including mathematical induction, matrices, linear equations and vectors, the difficulty lies in the completeness of the argument for the proof question.

Can students from non-Band 1 schools apply?

Is it too early to start tuition for junior secondary school?

Class transfer and make-up class arrangements will depend on the current class and available seats. If you are absent from class due to illness or other reasons, you can discuss make-up arrangements with us and get the notes and homework for that class first.

Please confirm the specific terms with us when registering— We will make it clear before registration to avoid future disputes. Are tuition fees paid monthly or on schedule?
