junior secondary maths tuition It is the foundation upon which the entire senior secondary mathematics is built. Hong Kong's secondary school mathematics curriculum is organized into three learning areas - "Number and Algebra", "Measurement, Shape and Space" and "Data Processing" - and the senior secondary Core follows the same set of areas. In other words, the gap left by the junior secondary will not disappear and will only reappear in a more complex form after Form 4.

DSE maths tuition class (Form 4 to Form 6)
DSE maths tuition It is our core course. Core's public examination is divided into two papers: Paper 1 is a traditional question, which must present all calculation steps. The test time is 2 hours and 15 minutes, and the full score is 105 points, accounting for 65% of the subject; Paper 2 is a multiple-choice question, with a total of 45 questions, the test time is 1 hour and 15 minutes, accounting for 35%, and no points will be deducted for wrong answers. The course allocates training time according to this ratio, rather than evenly training.

The difficulty with international courses is often not in mathematics, but in system differences: the same "mathematics subject" has different assessment methods, available tools, and level ceilings under the three systems of IB, Cambridge and Edexcel.

The internal assessment Mathematical Exploration (IA) accounts for 20% of the final grade and is approximately 12 to 20 pages in length. We provide topic evaluation, mathematical in-depth examination, research methods and writing modification suggestions. See details IB Math AA and IB Math AI.
IGCSE Mathematics
- Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics: Divided into two levels: Core and Extended, Extended covers deeper algebra and functions.
- Pearson Edexcel International GCSE Mathematics A: Divided into Foundation (levels 5 to 1 are acceptable) and Higher (levels 9 to 4 are acceptable, and level 3 is allowed). The two examination papers are 2 hours each and each accounts for 50%.
- Cambridge IGCSE Additional Mathematics: More in-depth than general IGCSE mathematics, including introduction to calculus, often used as a bridge to A Level.
- Edexcel International GCSE Further Pure Mathematics: Purely numerically oriented, suitable for studying Further Mathematics or IB AA HL in the future.
A-Level and IAL
- Edexcel International A Level: unit system. The full IAL is Pure Mathematics P1 to P4 plus two applied units (you can choose from Mechanics M1, M2, Statistics S1, S2 or Decision Mathematics D1); the IAS is P1, P2 plus one applied unit. The old C1 to C4 have been replaced by P1 to P4.
- Cambridge International AS & A Level: Set up six volumes. The complete A Level must take Paper 1 (Pure Mathematics 1) and Paper 3 (Pure Mathematics 3), and then choose two papers from Paper 4 (Mechanics), Paper 5 (Probability & Statistics 1), and Paper 6 (Probability & Statistics 2). Paper 4 and Paper 6 cannot be selected at the same time.
- Further Mathematics: Those aiming for engineering or mathematics courses at top UK universities usually need additional courses.
Common confusion: Edexcel IAL M1 is Mechanics 1, while DSE’s M1 is "Calculus and Statistics", the two are completely unrelated; S1 of IAL is Statistics 1, which also has no correspondence with DSE Extended Modules. Be sure to specify the examination board when searching for information.

How to arrange self-organized classes?
Minimum class size is 3 people, and the level must be similar to the course requirements. You can choose your own time, target specific school questions, and choose to attend classes at the centre or online. The more people there, the more discounted the tuition per person.
Can I join a class mid-semester?
Can. You will first understand the completed topics and current weaknesses; if the gap is large, it is recommended to first cover the bottom or One to one The gap is recovered and then merged into the regular class.
Can I apply for Core and M1/M2 at the same time?
Yes, regular classes M1 and M2 are offered in combination with Core (2 hours per class). If you only need to make up M1 or M2 individually, please inquire about one-to-one or self-group class arrangements.
Will the course be taught in Chinese or English?
Local courses are taught in Chinese (Cantonese) and English mathematical terms are taught; international courses can be taught entirely in English, adapting to the school's language environment and English answer format.
